In addition to the community performance,
Charlotte Blake Alston will perform for all Garrett County 7 & 8th grade students at their respective middle schools, Friday, May 20.  
There is also a community outreach activity at Our Town Theatre,

Oakland MD, Saturday morning, May 21.

 

 

Charlotte Blake Alston is a storyteller, narrator, instrumentalist and singer
who breathes life into traditional and contemporary stories from African and African American
oral and cultural traditions. Her solo performances are enhanced with
traditional instruments such as djembe, mbira, shekere or the 21-stringed kora.



$20 - Adult Ticket

FREE - Youth 5 and younger (ticket required)
