Pack your picnic and bring your family to this great Independence Day Celebration featuring your favorite band tunes. Round out the evening with the perfect spot to view the community fireworks display immediately following the concert.

Garrett Community Concert Band is relatively new, formed in May of 2000, entirely as a volunteer group. Starting with its Fourth of July premier performance in 2000, it has presented three concerts a year. Now under conductor, Moe Turrentine, they continue with this format.

Members include people from all walks, including businessmen, teachers, homemakers, retirees and high school and college students. We are strictly a volunteer organization. We play together out of love of music and to enjoy the company of others with a similar interest. We offer scholarships to students planning to pursue advanced music education as either a major or minor concentration.
